Who we are

This site is operated by Tariq Peters, trading as Four Stages of Brand Authority (part of Follow The Phases). If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, email hello@tariqpeters.co.uk.

What we collect

  • The Diagnostic: your answers to the sixteen questions, and, only once you choose to unlock your full Brand Authority Report, your first name and email address.
  • Newsletter signup: your name and email address.
  • Workshop, speaking or coaching enquiries:your name, email address, the type of engagement you're asking about, and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Purchases(when a paid product is live): your email address. Payment card details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details ourselves.

How we use it

  • To generate and send you your personalised Brand Authority Report by email.
  • To add you to our email list (via MailerLite), grouped by your diagnostic result, so we can send you related content and updates.
  • To respond to enquiries about workshops, speaking or coaching.
  • To process payment for anything you purchase.
  • To keep our own internal record of diagnostic completions.

Our legal basis for processing your data

  • Consent— for adding you to marketing emails. You can withdraw this at any time by unsubscribing using the link in any email we send.
  • Legitimate interest— for responding to your enquiries and delivering the report you specifically asked for.
  • Contract— for processing payment when you buy something from us.

Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted third parties (“processors”) to run this site. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

  • MailerLite(email marketing platform) — receives your name, email, and your diagnostic answers/scores, so we can manage your group membership and send relevant content.
  • Google(Sheets and Gmail, via our own Google account) — used to log diagnostic completions internally and to send you your report email.
  • Formspree— workshop/speaking/coaching enquiry submissions are also forwarded here as a backup copy alongside our own records.
  • Stripe— handles payment processing for any paid product. Stripe collects your card details directly; we only ever receive your email address and confirmation that payment succeeded.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Diagnostic and enquiry records are kept as part of our normal business records unless you request deletion.

Cookies

This site does not currently use cookies or any analytics/tracking scripts. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data has been mishandled.
